I admit that I do not know german. Most foreign poetry here is published biligually, and I do like Rilke, however odd he comes off in translation. I was happy you recognized it though. So Ive no idea where your comment was from, or what it meant. I do have other questions though, of a slightly less subtle nature: where do you live? why do you read my blog? I do not ask these defensively, only with curiosity.
hi niob was wondering whether you were also thinking about a transition metal on choosing your blogger-name. just in case: you'd be the better catalyser ;)

hy!
I did not need a translation of Rilke, I understand it
my comment ist from an autor I have forgotten the name-I will search!
further questions and answers:
where do you live?
In the "old world" not on the "new continent" *gg*
why do you read my blog?
just for fun, and I am curious!-
caus of yor name
what is your real intention?
I do not ask these defensively, only with curiosity.
;)
the comment ist form "Mell"-I think
I`ll see if I can organize a propper translation of the comment-this migt take a time.
I have no intentions whatsoever. I am glad that you like my name. If you could indulge my paranoia once more- have you lived at any point in Bosnia?
*gg* ;)
wow!-very direct your question!
I am a bit surprised!
are you thinking of someone special?
have you ever been there, cause you are talking about?
PS.: Michael-you don´t have any paranoia
a miss is as good as a mile
niob, the poem you cite is by sepp mall and he's italian, exactly southtyrolian --> he writes in german, too.
but though... good answer to rilke...
respect ;)
just to link to mr mall...
Doch selbst in der Verschweigung
ging neuer Anfang, Wink und Wandlung vor
But even in the stillness,
A new beginning, signs of change, emerged.
but michael, you're right. RMR actually comes off odd... lost in translation so to say.
sorry my fault,
o.k. there is a small difference between "mall" and "mell"-*g*
sorry once again-I havent found a translation...-still searching
thanks for correction
